This is a firm, even handed quite elegant chardonnay that stays very focused - with lifted, complex nose of marzipan, peat smoke, vanillin, baked apple and spice staying run throug h the palate, and adding some minerality on the finish. The length is excellent to outstanding. It really hangs together, in a very serious, linear, mature and nutty way. It may soften with aged but flavours already are in a mature spectrum. Score - 91.
