A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2012 The Procrastinator opens with lovely, ripe black and red currant notes supplemented by hints of menthol, pencil shavings and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied and elegantly fruited in the mouth, it has just enough mid-palate flesh supported by a medium level of grainy tannins and balanced acid to finish with good length.
