Ignasi's surface of white grapes far outnumbers the red, but here we have a little Monastrell and Merlot, growing together in the Cal Matias vineyard planted in the early 80s. Trea ted in the same way as the brisat whites, grapes were de-stemmed, macerated for just 4 days in a gentle infusion and then aged in steel, keeping things light-footed and fresh. Black cherries, wild herbs and peppery spice with a soft, supple mouthfeel. One to serve with a light chill. Show more
