Vinyl Prep is a strong solvent blend critical to refinishing vinyl. It removes soil, wax and grease from vinyl, as well as temporarily softens the substrate. You need to remove sol vent based contaminants with a solvent prep (like Vinyl Prep) to promote adhesion of the top coat. Directions: Spray Vinyl Prep directly onto vinyl surface or apply with a sponge or cloth. Wipe off with a damp sponge or cloth, wiping in one direction. Excessive rubbing is not necessary.
