The series comprises three levels with a student's book and accompaniment book available for each. Assembled and arranged by composer and teacher Edward Huws Jones each volume includes carefully selected repertoire and original compositions written specially for the series. From classical to pop and traditional to jazz Violin Star introduces a variety of musical genres and features pieces selected for the 2012-2015 Violin syllabus. The pieces present a logical progression through the technical and musical challenges of the early levels grouped to develop technical skills in an imaginative and enjoyable way. This book provides piano and violin accompaniment to the Violin Star 1 Book and CD.
