About your gift: This Lifesaving Gift could help fund our lifeguard service on over 240 beaches aroundthe UK and Channel Islands. This includes the cost of supervising beaches, providing and maintaining rescue equipment, running and maintaining lifeguard units, and providingessential lifeguard training and kit. Beach safety flags are part of that essential kit. Our lifeguards use flags to warn beachgoers of dangerous sea conditions and to show the safest areas for bathing and bodyboarding, and for watersports such as surfing, windsurfing and kayaking.
