Virvel originates from a wall-to-wall rug design by Ulla Ericson-Åström, rediscovered in the Kasthall archives and reintroduced as part of the Kasthall Tufted Originals. Its swirli ng pattern is formed by an unruly pile with protruding wool and linen threads, giving the surface a lively, tactile movement. Named after the Swedish word for “swirl,” Virvel lets material and structure drive the expression. Show more
