When we hit the landmark 25 VISIONARY, we seized the opportunity to make an anniversary issue of greatest hits: brand-new work by some of our all-time favorite visionaries issued i n an op art-inspired case the size of a standard twelve-inch album cover. In keeping with the greatest hits theme, musician Towa Tei produced the Visionary soundtrack CD to accompany our picture album. The album features contributing teams Mario Testino and Carine Roitfeld, Isabel and Ruben Toledo and choreographer Twyla Tharp, and Karl Lagerfeld and Yohji Yamamoto. David Bowie curates a special section featuring artists Tony Oursler, Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, and Beth B., and eight young designers envision their work in a section called New Visions. Show more
