Each ml provides vitamin E in its highest biologically-available form – d-alpha-tocopherol, the same form found in colostrum and milk. IM or subcut injections offer an efficient and rapid method to increase status of fat-soluble vitamins E, A and D in animals. Injecting vitamins E, A and D at strategic times in production cycle can improve productivity. Injecting sows 2 weeks pre-partum increases vitamin levels in newborn pigs. Vitamin A injections have been shown to increase the number of pigs born alive. Injecting cows 2 weeks pre-partum helps overcome a depression in fat-soluble vitamin status at parturition. Each ml contains 300 IU vitamin E, 200,000 IU vitamin A and 100,000 IU vitamin D compounded with 18% ethyl alcohol and 1% benzyl alcohol (preservative) in an emulsifiable base. Dosage (IM or subcut): Cows and heifers 2 weeks pre-partum – 8-10 ml. Ewes 2 weeks pre-partum – 3-4 ml. Gilts 2 weeks pre-breeding – 4-5 ml; gilts 2 weeks pre-partum – 4-5 ml.
