Eames Stools by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. In 1960 the Eames office was commissioned by Time Inc. to fit out three lobbies in the Rockefeller Center in New York. As well as com plete interior fixtures and fittings the project included the comfortable Lobby Chairs and a series of solid walnut stools. These turned stools which (as Ray Eames originally intended) can also be used as occasional tables have three different design details in their centre sections. Available in European chestnut or walnut in three different variations: Model A, Model B and Model C. Herman Miller has the sole license for the Charles and Ray Eames collection in the U.S. and the Far East. Therefore the export of these products from the UK to the U.S. is not possible.
