The VL Studio Wall Lamp revives the functionalist heritage of Vilhelm Lauritzen's Radiohuset — the Danish Broadcasting House whose every fitting his studio drew and Louis Poulsen p roduced. Reintroduced in 2022, three layers of mouth-blown opal glass soften the bulb completely, so the diffuser glows evenly like a small moon against the wall, on a housing of brushed, untreated brass that patinates with age or matt black aluminium; the shade turns 90° to either side. Wall lamps are among the most underused tools in compact homes: a pair beside the bed frees the nightstands, one flanks a mirror or warms a dim corner without claiming any surface.
