VN010 – Blooper The nickname “Blooper” became associated with the distinctive sound of the M79 grenade launcher, a single-shot weapon widely used by American forces in Vietnam. Com pact and relatively light, the M79 allowed a grenadier to place explosive rounds onto targets beyond ordinary hand-grenade range, filling the gap between the rifle and heavier support weapons. VN010 – Blooper represents a soldier equipped with this characteristic Vietnam-era weapon and provides an excellent specialist figure for an infantry squad.
