Visual Anatomy & Physiology for Medical Interpreters: 1.0 RID Professional Studies CEUs. $75 Participants purchase the workbook "Anatomy & Physiology made Incredibly Visual” 2nd edition* and are given supplemental medical video clips in ASL and English to deepen their understanding of how the human body looks and operates for a more conceptually accurate medical interpretation. Anatomy & Physiology Workbook for Dummies: 2.0 RID Professional Studies CEUs. $90 Participants purchase the workbook "Anatomy & Physiology for Dummies” 3rd edition* to work through chapters and quizzes through the book. HIPAA + Industrial Safety Standards for Medical Interpreters: 0.25 RID CEUs PS + HIPAA Certificate of Completion. $20 This project is two short self-study lessons on HIPAA regulations & safety rules to stay safe, avoid illness, and respond to problems in medical facilities. The lesson covers pathogen exposure, psychiatric unit safety, disaster response, inappropriate behavior reporting, and trauma self-care. Learning modules provided. No external text purchase required. These four projects work the visual cortex language center of your brain, learning the shapes of human anatomy via blank coloring sheets (provided), and then practicing ASL classifier hand shapes to appropriately interpret the concepts to Deaf patients.
