From time to time a tear will form - often a breach of demonic origin - and energy will begin to leak into this vast nether. Such energy is just enough to stir a dormant Void Elemental. An unquenchable, devouring force. Once awakened, the Void Elemental is in a perpetual state of thirst, relying on the energy of other life to nourish and maintain her solid form. This horrific creature is only unleashed into the physical realm on the rarest occasions, through the aid of some mad sorcerer or a demonic breach preceding an invasion. When she does escape, few survive initial first contact with her, as she seeks to destroy and consume all in her path to further fuel her existence. Even demons do not test her. The mightiest demon lords will hesitate to engage a Void Elemental, as doing battle with such a force can leave them drained and vulnerable - even in victory. Void Elementals are barren of energy, as it is rapidly consumed by their unstable physical form, so demons have nothing to gain from a battle with these fearsome beauties. Fortunately, the discovery of these powerful elementals is rare on any material plane, and thus an experience that only an unfortunate few have fallen prey to.
