Fits: 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2006–2008 Lincoln Mark LT Volant197546Cold Air IntakesVolant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cold Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. This model includes a no maintenance PowerCore® filter. By using Donaldsons PowerCore Filtration technology submicron contaminants load on the surface rather than collecting in the depth of the filter. This is why we warranty our replacement air filters for 4 years or 150000 miles in urban conditions whichever comes first.Volant PowerCore air intakes feature a heat-resistant air box that's designed to keep hot engine compartment air out of your air intake stream, pulling cold air from down below. This gives you a cold, dense air charge that delivers maximum punch and power potential. These PowerCore intakes also include an air filter that's specifically designed to stop ultra-fine particles from harming your engine. Order the model designed for your vehicle application. Other features and benefits: * Increased horsepower and fuel economy * PowerCore air filter material can even get wet without harm * Maintenance-free; never needs cleaned or oiled * Aluminum air box lid adds style to your engine compartment
