The City Thirsts for War A hot, humid city that sits on the Summer Sea in southern Essos, the Free City of Volantis is governed by members of two political parties: the merchant El
ephants and the warrior Tigers. This necklace features an Elephant Party Honor. The coin has a "death's head" on one side and an elephant, crown, and the Valyrian words, "First Men of the First Blood" on the other. The Elephant Party has held the majority of the seats in power since the Century of Blood, so an Elephant Honor would be the more common Volantene Honor one would find in the city.
