Voluntas, 2026 1 of 1 original (signature & original flower on back) Acrylic, paint pen, oil stick, charcoal, drywall mesh, plaster on canvas 30 x 40 x 1.5 in Voluntas is the fifth painting in my latest series, that delves into free will, and asks one to question what free will means to them. Imagery of a sheep was added as a symbol of either, following the "proverbial" herd, or breaking free from that herd, and setting your own course and destination in life. The hand extended out as a gift, or offering of the flower, is a representation of an act of kindness, and how giving, oftentimes is far more rewarding than receiving.
