It is made of strong 304 stainless steel and easily plugs direct ly into your re-circulation bulkhead fitting with the 1/2" Knurled FPT locking nut end.The Vorlauf Attachment works to clarify the wort that Is drawn out of the mash tun, resulting in less flour or grains making their way into the boil kettle. It is recommended that to optimize your Vorlauf you re-circulate for 5-7 minutes. This causes the grain bed to compact or 'settle', creating a natural filter to clear small mill finings. In addition the Vorlauf Attachment is fitted with a splash relief to avoid disrupting the grain bed.Specifications: Made out of 304 Stainless Steel Attaches to re-circulation bulkhead 1/2" Knurled Female NPT Locking Nut Show more
