The Voron0 magbed is machined out of 6.35mm thick 5083 Aluminum Cast Tooling plate and is 130mm^2. Compatible with the v0.0, v0.1 and v0.2. This is a top magnet designed bed and has incredible holding power with it's N48SH neodynium magnets good up to 150C. The magnets are recessed slightly below the surface of the bed. In addition, they are attached to the bed with countersunk screws and are slightly below the surface of the bed. They each have a pulling force of 11 lbs. There are 2 - m3 threaded holes in the bed for the purposes of inserting setscrews for ease of use of positioning a flex plate. Our latest run features a 5mm tapped mounting hole for ease of use in mounting a thermal fuse. Comes with 150C magnets standard. Flex Plate Choices: Our magbeds are a top magnet design bed, meaning that the magnets are slightly below the surface of the magbed. We are happy to be able to provide some flexplates, with, or without a print surface, called the FireThorns. Thinner sheets may dimple slightly under the magnet. A lot of China build plates are not up to the challenge. IMPORTANT NOTE: If at any point you decide to remove the magnets, first of all, when reinstalling the screws, turn the screw backwards until you feel the threads in the screw jump the threads in the bed. Once you feel that little bump, turn the screw in until it gets to the "screw stops turning point" with zero strength behind it. Once the screw has stopped turning, tighten it 1/32nd of a turn and NO MORE. Overtightening WILL shatter the magnets.
