The tessellated 3D printed panels are PROTOTYPE pieces from a proposed project in Maldives that forms the backdrop for a bar. They are designed following the voronoi algorithm to p rovide a screen and designed to be tiled and interlocking. Printed using a large format robotic arm, the piece follows a single continuous tool path developed in-house by Mamou-mani and Fabpub to save material / consumed energy and provide structural stability.
