The platform stays stable and confidence inspiring during starts, while the bottom, tail, and rail release are tuned to handle repeat touchdowns with rapid rebounds. The result is a board that encourages you to strap up and to send it! The Vortex is built around minimal swing weight, rebound and recovery after landings. When you are jumping, your board needs to touch down, deflect, and get back toward flight without sticking or sinking. That skipping stone release is the core of the Vortex feel. A compact outline reduces swing weight so rotations come around faster, and the board feels easy to move through the air. Volume is packed into a short platform to keep starts and resets manageable and doesn’t feel overly dedicated to purely jumping. Underneath, the bottom and tail are tuned for instant water separation. Land, release, rebound, and accelerate back to foil. The Vortex feels compact, stable, and instantly reactive. The short outline minimizes rotational weight, making spins, transitions, and midair corrections easier. Once flying it feels direct and connected, especially when loading the foil for pop or pushing through hard carve and slides.
