For batching systems, prepare a water-acid solution at the same target pH. Operate the irrigation system with the prepared solution until pH reaches 2.0-3.0, then run for an additional 10-15 minutes. Immediately clean or replace system filters after acid treatment. Flush the system thoroughly with clean water in the following order: mainlines, distribution manifolds, drip lines, and drip irrigation flush valves. Continue flushing until water is clear and neutral in pH (typically 1-3 minutes).
