Vriesea Era is a stunning houseplant that is full of pattern and vibrant colour. The evergreen, arching foliage bears a striped maroon and green pattern. This is accompanied by a c entral, spear-like flowerhead that shows off an eye-catching luminous orange colour when it blooms from Spring through to Autumn. This plant, more commonly known as Flaming Sword, is also a great space-filler as it grows to an ultimate height and spread of 0.6m. Vrieseas are easy to care for. They will appreciate any area that offers bright, indirect light. Being tolerant to moist soil types makes any repotting process simple. Water the plant so its soil is kept moist and well-drained, whilst also ensuring the leaves are misted regularly.
