VS Tilting Series - Wall mounted handrail bracket. The VS-R-WALL-BLK (right side) wall mounted bracket can be mounted directly on top of existing drywall and does not require any p lastering or repair. PLEASE NOTE: The tilting brackets are side specific and determined by what side they will be mounted on when looking UP the stairs. The tilting brackets are compatible with stairs that have an angle between 30 and 40 degrees. For landings, specify the VS-P-WALL-BLK bracket. These brackets require approx 1-1/2" (38mm) of solid wall backing, wood stud or concrete to anchor into as well as a rail with a flat bottom or surface where it comes in contact with each bracket. Rails can be mounted directly on top of the bracket saddle or inset - see spec sheet. Rectangle rails do not have to be centered on the brackets.
