Vucub Caquix, a figure from Mayan mythology, is a large, parrot-like humanoid with bright, vivid colours. He has lived in the jungle surrounding Paititi for a long time and conside rs himself its undisputed lord, equal to the Sun and the Moon. He is vain, haughty and arrogant.
