The Vulcano carries a woven language long associated with Flexform's indoor collection into open-air environments, without compromise. The weave is not surface decoration - it is s tructural, rendered in polypropylene fiber or polyurethane rubber across a palette calibrated for exterior light and weather. Beneath the woven surface, the construction is considered at every layer. The base uses marine plywood, selected for dimensional stability as humidity and temperature shift across seasons. Armrest and backrest frames are formed in austenitic stainless steel 316, a grade developed specifically for resistance to saltwater corrosion, making the system genuinely suited to coastal and exposed settings. The perimeter frame follows in the same alloy. Compositional flexibility is central to the system's identity.
