High in monounsaturated fats and oleic acid, it offers a healthier fat profile and exceptional flavor. Akaushi - also known as Akage Washu - is one of the four elite Wagyu breeds, making our cuts a rare find. Our Wagyu cattle are primarily raised on a diet of grass, which means they graze in pastures for most of their lives. However, during the last month before they are butchered, they are fed grain to enhance the flavor and marbling of the meat. Our cattle are raised with care and processed at local USDA or state-inspected facilities. From pasture to plate, we manage every step to ensure you’re receiving a truly craft product - responsibly raised, and full of flavor you can trust.
