I made this hand-drawn map of Waihi Beach in 2021, when we had just started going to the Waihi Beach market on Sundays. This is one of my first maps! I I wanted to highlight the Bowentown Peninsula and Athenree, the boats, and people enjoying themselves at the beach. I added the colours with a digital pencil.
