Yusuke Wakasa is a ceramic artist based in Etajima, Hiroshima, where he creates pottery inspired by the quiet beauty of the Seto Inland Sea. After studying ceramics and training un der master potter Masayuki Imai, he established his own studio and gallery, 10 Sanji, in a renovated traditional Japanese home. Wakasa is known for his thoughtful exploration of color, texture, and form, often developing original glazes using ash made from local trees such as olive, fig, and citrus.
