Silk, acid dye, rust 70" x 70" Rusted Silk Fabrics produce one-of-a-kind scarves, wearables, wall pieces, and home decor. Most works are silk and polyester blends. Each piece is tr eated using a process called iron oxide transfer or staining fabric with rust. The transfer process is simple: fabric on rusted metal stored in humid conditions for up to two weeks. A mixture of water and vinegar is misted over the fabric to accelerate the transfer process. Each piece is unique. Show more
