One of my favourite past times, is macramé. Taking strands of thread, rope or twine and turning it into physical art that you can use, wear or display - I think it's amazing! And making these wall hangings is my top 3 obsessions. There's a feeling of inner peace, going for a walk, finding the perfect stick (carrying it home like a little bit of a crazy lady, you've got to image I usually have more than one big stick....), then spending a few hours weaving, knotting and shaping cords with some relaxing music. To be able to step back and be proud of the work, is something I hope I can always do. To be able to sell it and have people want to display it in their homes, is something that will always blow my mind and make me proud. Every piece I make, is a free flow of creativity which creates a totally unique peice.
