A complete cedar closet system with hanging rods, shelves, and a center cubby section, all in solid aromatic red cedar. This is our Open panel version. Choosing your width. Measure your wall and select the size that covers it. If your measurement falls close to a kit size, choose the larger one. Cedar can be trimmed down, but it cannot be extended. The 6' kit assembles to 73.5", the 8' to 97.5", and the 10' to 121.5". Trim the extra to fit your exact space. Example: If your wall measures 84", select the 8' kit and trim it down. Choosing your depth. This is our standard 14.5" system, and it fits most closets. Hanging clothes need 22.15" from the back wall to the doors, since that is how far a shirt on a standard hanger reaches. If your closet is narrower than that, our 12.5" Deluxe kit is built for the space. The two depths are not compatible and do not connect to each other. Choosing your panel style. The Open panel design allows for better air circulation. Open panels are not designed to be cut down. If your ceiling is low or sloped, or you need to shorten the unit to fit, select our 14.5" Deluxe kit instead. Deluxe panels can be trimmed for height. The assembled height is 7' or 84". Most installations take 4 to 5 hours with a drill, a level, and tools you likely already own. Instructions are included, and you are welcome to read them before you buy. Made in the USA.
