This Locking Payment Drop Box works as a payment drop box, key drop box or most any other item you need to have securely dropped into a locked box. The overall size is 10" W x 15" H x 4-1/4" D. The locking door opening is 7-1/8" W x 6-1/4" H. This drop box works great as a key drop box. While other locking key drop boxes have narrow drop slots, or key drop box offers a larger drop hopper door for full sets of keys. The hopper style door also closes off the back of the opening making it extremely difficult to fish keys out. The opening for items to be dropped is 7-3/8" W x 1-3/8" H with a 7/8" drop clearance which means if items are thicker than 7/8" this is not the best drop box for you. A metal baffle helps keep someone from fishing out items inside. This locking drop box is best for indoor use or under a large eave. The Tubular lock set includes two keys. A tubular lock is much more difficult to pick then a standard key, and is typically seen on vending machines where security is greatly needed. The lock is reinforced by a double steel door which is 1/8" thick and the anti pry steel around the lock helps prevent someone from prying open the door (see inset image above). This unit is not designed for direct weather and best if kept under an eave. Mounting is easy with the four pre-drilled holes on the back. This drop box includes the hardware to mount in either concrete or wood.
