This is the first time I've paired it with metal. A wall peg with a turned aluminium stem and a solid oak head, designed to hold a coat, a bag, a lead. Quiet, considered, and made to last. The oak head is hand-finished, so the grain is different on every one, and the fixing is concealed, no visible screws, just a clean line where metal meets wood. It started as a sketch on the bench. I'm now making a small first batch, numbered and made to order here in North Yorkshire. Finishes Oak head, on a natural or charcoal anodised stem.
