Solid but elegant, this set of walnut armchairs is well constructed with high backs, deep seats, and reinforced legs. The chair backs are crowned with a carved shell above small sp indles. Acanthus leaves adorn the front of the scrolled arms. The legs are fluted with ball feet and uniting stretchers. The chairs have been reupholstered. Seat height is 19.5 inches.
