It’s tough enough to handle your slicing, dicing and chopping, forgiving enough to hide many of its battle scars while keeping your expensive knives from dulling, all the while looking pretty sitting on your countertop! To accomplish all of this, the end grain construction is a long, well thought out process and is regarded as a high quality board by the pros! DO NOT submerge your board in water, it will warp! Wash your boards on both sides with soapy water. Washing only one side can warp your board. Dry with a clean hand towel and air dry on its edge. DO NOT lay flat to dry. Keep away from sunlight and direct heating/cooling when air drying. Treat your clean, dry board with food grade mineral oil or wood cutting board conditioner frequently.
