About This Collection: "Wanderers" I’ve long been drawn to impermanence—the fleeting nature of life and the steady passage of time. In earlier work, I used decaying homes and build ings as symbols of fragility and nature’s quiet reclamation of human ambition. Recently, becoming a parent has shifted that lens toward something more hopeful, though still conflicted. There is unease in raising children for a future that may hold only fragments of the world we know. How much hope do we offer, and how much warning? How do we prepare them for a world shaped by distorted priorities? In the Wanderer series, the buildings hold that tension. They are symbols of wonder and imagination, but also of escape and abandonment. Show more
