Named after Waresley wood, an ancient oak and ash woodland situated in Bedfordshire; the Waresley table takes inspiration from the traditional Irish double stretcher designs. The t op rails, with hand finished beading on the underside, are joined to the legs and held in place by a pair of oak pegs. Similarly, the pair of stretchers on the under frame are held firm at each end by a bottom cross member, which is joined to the legs and secured in place by a single, larger oak peg. The largest size of the Waresley table that we offer in our collections will comfortably seat 10 people. We love making the Waresley table in British Prime Oak with a Pippy Oak top, breadboard ends and our clear oiled finish. Show more
