Our Warre hive kits feature ⅞" (22mm) thick boxes for great insulation, rabbet joints to better control breezes and light, and the screened base and all fasteners are made from 410 stainless steel for more strength, great looks, and longevity. Sloped handles allow for improved rain runoff and better grip for lifting. The precision milled, one-piece top bars encourage your bees to build beautiful, straight combs. 1/8" Lexan viewing windows are much stronger than glass with good insulation properties, and designed to last. Our window latches are made of durable Black Walnut. Warre boxes measure 13½" wide by 13½" long by 8¼" deep.
