Our Trunk Liner couldn’t be easier to remove and only takes a moment longer to pop back in place—no tools needed! Some trunk companies DO still cover their interiors with a paper lining which has been a conventional part of trunk construction in the Americas since the 1800’s. In fact, we applied paper lining to our interiors a number of years back. Then we thought, why not show off our gorgeous trunk interior instead of covering such beautiful hardwood with paper. Of course, with our wood now exposed, we wanted to offer our customers a means of protection. So we developed our fabric Trunk Liner accessory. It’s been through a number of modifications over the years, as we struggled to provide a secure means of installation that could still be removed. We initially fastened our fabric liners with screws which made for a tedious installation and removal. After that, we thought velcro? Snaps? Maybe magnets? But eventually, the idea came to Deb in our Graphics Department…how about NOTHING! Before purchasing, be sure to select theCORRECT SIZE Liner to match the size of yourC&N Camp Trunk! NOTHING attaches the Liner! It doesn’t actually fasten to your trunk at all! The narrow space between the rails inside the trunk and the trunk wall itself is what secures the corners of the Liner, holding it open and upright! The solution was so simple! And the installation and removal—a cinch! It seemed too good to be true, but the method works like a charm! But How Protective is it? Our Trunk Liner is made of a protective and durable, water-resistant, 210-denier nylon fabric…but that probably doesn’t mean much to you (if anything at all). So instead of relying on the detail of the fabric, I’ll let this customer review demonstrate just how impressive this Liner really is! Get a load of this crazy story!
