Skip the scouring process and jump right into fibre preparation with our 150g bags of pre-washed fleece. This size is perfect if you want to experiment with different sheep breeds, sample the fibre before commiting to a whole fleece, or if you want to avoid the more messy side of handling unmilled wool. To scour our fleece, we first soak it in hot water to remove most of the dirt. We then wash once with Unicorn Power Scour, followed by a hot rinse. We've found that this process removes the majority of the lanolin without leaving the fibre feeling dry and brittle. Our prewashed Finn fleece is black with sun-bleached tips. Our North Country Cheviot and Ile de France x NCC pre-washed fleece is white. Show more
