Watching The Watch (2025) By Meadow Majesty I let my "what if"s come to life in this painting. Originally I was inspired by a black lamppost holding up a spherical glass ball that housed a lightbulb. "What if that lamppost was a staff? And what if atop that staff was a bubble that housed a woman?" The story behind this painting revealed itself to me as I came near the end of the sketch. A woman from the chosen bloodline fulfills her duties to the Bubble Queendom. Pulled from her daily life, she must observe, she must train, she must learn.
