The Ness of Brodgar excavation was closed due to COVID in 2020. With special permission, I went near and around to capture the quietness. This long view of the buildings that are a ctive during the dig season, had to be captured in their solitude. No people to excite them. The original is a small 5 x 7 oil painting on canvas board.
