This hand carved nativity scene by artisans from Bethlehem displays the giant Israeli separation wall and watchtower, showing what today's reality would be like for the holy family . One on side is the holy family in the manger and on the other is the wisemen. Bethlehem once had a booming tourist industry, but today it is a city suffering under Israel's crushing military occupation, the city's agricultural outskirts destroyed by the separation wall and illegal colony construction.
