Water Sample Collection Guide TUMI Genomics’ Fungal screen diagnostic assay uses a TaqMan qPCR to detect the presence of pathogenic Pythium and Fusarium species in water samples th at have been previously plated in petri dishes for 7 days. This product allows for 01 sample of water to be tested. Results take 2 weeks to be delivered. The primer/probe sets target the Pythium and Fusarium genomes. The Pythium species detected in the assay are: P. dissotocum P. myriotylum P. ultimum P. alphanidermatum The Fusarium species detected in the assay are: Fusarium oxysporum Fusarium solani Fusarium proliferatum fusarium brachygibbosum Note: The assay detects the presence of pathogenic Pythium and fusarium.
