Instructions: Fill a clean glass with tap water. Place coloured end of strip in water for 3 seconds. Wait 60 seconds then compare colour on chart. Safe drinking water should read 5 or less. Note: Do not consume tested water. Test strips have a shelf-life of 12 months. Preferably test in cold water (2℃ to 30℃). Please read results within 2 minutes of testing. Colour changes that occur after the 2 minute mark should be igored. There is no known safe amount of lead in drinking water.
