Terra-Cotta Garden Olla. A small to medium-sized, unglazed terra cotta jar or vase with no drainage hole can be used as an irrigation vessel. Typically buried up to the top of the collar in a garden. You fill the Olla with water, and through moisture tension, it slowly releases the water into the soil as needed. Using a garden olla helps conserve water as you will lose less to evaporation and fewer weeds to pull as you will not be watering the top 1-2 inches. Each Olla includes a protective lid. 1 Quart (Medium) 5"w x 9"h. Weight: 2.5 LBS before packaging.
