This waterproof fabric will change your period panties and incontinence undies! Use it beneath an absorbent layer, to create a moisture proof barrier to protect your outer panty fabric. We are offering white so it won't show beneath your favorite lighter colors. Polyurethane Laminate (PUL) waterproof fabric is a 100% polyester knit, which resists moisture on its own (great for preventing wicking at seam lines and at the edges), and has been heat laminated with a 1 millimeter waterproof layer to make it fully waterproof. PUL is produced in a healthy (for the planet and for us) method and is considered an eco-fabric - which we love! We chose an industry leader for our PUL- its soft with a gentle stretch and is durable, too. Originally designed for reusable medical products, this PUL will last the lifetime of your panty! Place PUL between your outer fabric and your absorbent layer (ZORB), with the laminate side towards your absorbent layer. Sewing notes: its best to use sewing clips instead of pins, choose an all polyester thread (which won't wick) and sew with a stretch or ball point needle to prevent small holes can allow moisture transfer after long wear. If you plan to sew your PUL with the laminate side down, tissue paper between the fabric and your machine can make sewing smoother.
