TerraSlate Menus are printed on world-renowned TerraSlate paper, a 100% waterproof and rip-proof substrate made from military-grade polyester. The result is a menu that stands up to spills, heavy handling, and daily restaurant use without showing wear. TerraSlate is the ideal solution for restaurant menus, recipe cards, kitchen line guides, and in-store signage. Are TerraSlate menus available in other sizes? Yes. TerraSlate menus are available in a wide range of thicknesses, sizes, folds, and colors. We can produce any custom size up to 13" x 19" at no additional cost, because we simply use the next standard size up and trim it down. Ask about our die-cut menu options for a truly distinctive look. Please note Tri-fold menus can be folded traditionally or as a z-fold. 13" x 19" menus may be trimmed slightly if the design is full-bleed, so it extends to the edge. What is the turnaround time? 95% of menu orders ship the same business day with free overnight shipping included. International orders ship with free expedited international shipping. How long does shipping take? Menu orders include free overnight shipping anywhere in the United States. Per carrier policy, weekends and holidays are excluded. Orders shipped on a Friday or the day before a holiday will be delivered on the following business day. Saturday delivery is available; please call or email [email protected] for a quote. International orders include free expedited international shipping, and we pay all import duties on your behalf at the time of shipment so you never have a surprise customs bill. How are TerraSlate menus different from laminated menus? Laminated menus rip, fray, and delaminate the moment liquid gets between the layers. Direct sunlight makes them yellow. Frequent handling makes the edges peel. TerraSlate menus solve all of those problems because there is no lamination at all. TerraSlate has no layers, so you can hole-punch a TerraSlate menu and it remains 100% waterproof. Spilled food, water, wine, and oil wipe right off without staining. The result is a menu that looks brand new for months, not just weeks. How is TerraSlate different from PolySlate? TerraSlate and PolySlate are both high-quality waterproof and rip-proof synthetic substrates that eliminate the need for lamination. The key difference is the formulation. TerraSlate is a higher-density, military-grade product engineered for maximum durability and rigidity. PolySlate is designed for lighter commercial use and is built with a more cost-effective formula that is slightly less dense and less rigid than TerraSlate. Will TerraSlate menus save my restaurant money? Absolutely. Here is how: 1. Unmatched durability means far fewer reprints Most paper and laminated menus get pulled from circulation every few weeks. TerraSlate menus stay in rotation for months. The math works fast: durable menus mean dramatically lower annual print spend. 2. Easy cleaning protects your investment A quick wipe with a damp cloth, or a wash with soap and water, is all it takes. No more pulling stained or sticky menus from circulation before they were ready to retire. 3. Stunning custom design drives more revenue Your menu is your single most important sales tool. A polished, durable menu raises the perceived quality of your restaurant, increases average ticket size, and earns better reviews. Ask us about our die-cut menu options to make your restaurant stand out. 4. A smarter choice for your sustainability goals By printing fewer menus over time, TerraSlate dramatically reduces the volume of menu waste your restaurant generates. Our manufacturing facility is powered entirely by wind and solar energy. How do we keep prices this low and still ship overnight for free? We maintain our entire supply chain. We manufacture in-house, sell factory direct with no middlemen, and run state-of-the-art equipment that produces menus faster and more efficiently than anyone in the industry. Those savings get passed directly to you. To keep shipping free, we negotiate deeply discounted overnight rates with FedEx and UPS every month and absorb the cost so you don't have to think about it. How do TerraSlate menus help my restaurant become more profitable? Your menu is the second thing your customers evaluate after they walk through the door, and it is the primary sales tool for everything you serve. A professional, polished menu raises the perceived quality of your entire restaurant, which leads to: Higher average ticket size More 5-star reviews on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Facebook More repeat visits and word-of-mouth referrals A consistent first impression for every guest, on every shift, every day Ambiance and service matter, but the menu is what closes the sale. Make sure yours reflects the quality of the food you serve. Can you help me with a new design? Yes.
