Included in this pattern there are instructions to knit the blanket in a worsted weight yarn (weight 4) AND instructions to knit the blanket in a super bulky weight yarn (weight 6) . So, if you're in a hurry to knit something quickly for a baby on the way you can easily whip up a blanket in a super bulky yarn. Or, if the baby is born in the warmer months, you could knit the blanket in a worsted cotton yarn. It makes for a perfect baby shower gift! I suggest using a super wash wool or a cotton yarn making it easy to clean because, let's face it, babies are messy. The texture is squishy and soft. The blanket drapes nicely making it perfect to snuggle up a little bundle of joy! Skill Level: Beginner/Easy. You only need to know how to knit and purl!
